Much Prayer, Much Power Beat

Hey you :) O.C.P. back again to share with you some new music. This track is one with a melody on it that I had playing in my soul since I was 7. When I learned how to produce beats I spent some time on it to bring it to life. I want to present it to you now, and confess that WG wanted to do a song to it called "Much Prayer, Much Power," that he may still do, in the future, but for now, this is the bones. Keep the Faith

After my tears, I had so many, I had to at once see

That the pain and my perception had to change within me

I am not the bearer of the burden, nor the one who wronged

I do not have evil coming to me, just because my faith was strong

It dawned on me today that many times we press with all that we have to serve God, and then at the end of it, we find ourselves in the pit or being cast into prison like Joseph. I realized that there is a truer truth behind it all. While our enemies may celebrate their victories over us, discourage us, bring us lack, and try to destroy us, God will prevail.

There is no way in God that we can actually sow good and sow good and sow good, and then reap destruction and evil. The harvest is coming, and when it does, and the winter season is over, then that harvest will be abundant!

So the key is to prepare for the best when it arrives. Expect the unexpected. Believe God. And don't stop walking the narrow path. The blessings will come to you, as long as you keep your faith!

Who knows the way to unlock its true form?

Who has the heart to endure through its storm?

Who knows the way to make bitter transform?

Time, it allows the pressure to change it

Time, it removes impurities, makes it clear

When the Going Gets Tough

There are times in life when things get very difficult, and it looks like there is no way out. I just want to share a story with you that has encouraged me since the first time I heard it.

An old man and a young man stood before a portrait in a museum. It was a beautiful painting of the devil laughing across the chess table from a bewildered man, and the man looking frustrated, as the devil had put in him in check mate.

The young man said, "How sad!" But the old man, wise with years responded, "Look again, why is he worried? He still has one more move!"

Sometimes it feels like we have lost. It's okay to cry. But then when we look up, we notice that we are still breathing, and there is still a heartbeat in there. We still have one more move. It ain't over.

I wanna encourage somebody who may be struggling today that it ain't over. The painful times are times to learn the lessons of life. So study. Increase your awareness. There is another move hidden in the board. You can do it. And just remember that God's strength is made perfect in weakness.

A little history of mine and why I Smile

Good morning :) I have a question for you.

Have you ever been in a long distance relationship?

You know the feeling of saying goodbye, before you part ways? And how when that person is far away, you remember who they are: their smile, their charm, and their influence in your life?

Well, imagine you are across the world from someone, when you realize, that they have a piece of your heart. <3

That is where I was in 2003, when I woke up and reported to my duty section early with passion in my heart to write to him in Iraq and make sure he had it to read before I started my daily military duties.

Loving someone is an incredible thing <3

New Music by One Crazy Poet

Good morning! Well, today I want to share with you a little piece of my work, a few beats that I created in my studio that I like to jam to.

I released two of these yesterday on my Facebook page but today I am adding a third, "I'm Floating" to the mix. If you haven't heard them yet, check them out. You can freestyle to them or just bump to them.

Hello World...

Hello, and let me introduce myself. My name is One Crazy Poet, A.K.A. Precious. I call myself "crazy" because I am a hopeless romantic. I love to create with my hands what I see in my visions or whatever I hear in my head. Sometimes my hands get muddy, sticky, messy, and dirty, but that's okay! I have a dream to be an inspiration and make people smile. Whatever that ends up looking like, that's fine, as long as I can do it. Let me share a quick anecdote that has blessed me over the years:

"The itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout, down came the rain and washed the spider out.........Out came the sun and it dried up all the rain and the itsy bitsy spider went up the spout again!!!"

No matter what circumstances in life come, keep trying. Keep going. Persevere. There is no perfect time to start climbing, just go! The rain will fall, the monsoon will relent, but look up, and let the sun dry up the rain and the Son of God dry up the tears from your eyes and get to climbing! No matter how high the top of the spout is, you will reach it only if you pursue!
